Now this is something interesting. This will surely help you guys a lot when you are startup. Every year a lot of event's is happening. Just keep yourself updated and connected. You will get connection's automatically during this participation.

Join those events or programs, Meet new people , Show your interest, Communicate with them, Share your point of view, grab attention, gather information, keep yourself updated, be communicative, be polite, don't be over smart and talkative, collect contact information and business card, do something interesting what will left a foot print of you in that community. 

This events are full of activities. Just use them properly. And keep that on your mind:
